RECENT ADDITION: Chakra Healing Circle
 
Description:  In this interactive and informative class, you will practice techniques for clearing and aligning the chakras ( energy centers of the body) to heal issues of health, emotion, self esteem, relationships, money, intuition and your life purpose and path. This is a brand new class from Elizabeth Almann.  It will be presented in a format similar to the Spirit Message Circle.
 
The class be taught intuitively, and participants will be given individual guidance about an area of the chakra system they are currently working to heal.

Supplies: You may wish to bring pencil and paper to take notes.  A yoga mat or blanket for guided meditations is optional.

 Full Moon Drumming Circle
 
Description: Anyone with a love of rhythm or wanting to develop one is
welcome to participate. Bring a drum, rattle, anything to keep time with
and join in for a couple of hours of sound and movement. The Full Moon
Drumming Circle is a monthly event at Barjons. Keep your eye on the
night sky and check our calendar for this moving lunar celebration.

Instructor: Pass it around, and keep it going!

Wicca: Use of Stones in Magick
 
Description: Learn the meanings of stones, crystals and gems, how to
identify them, and their use and application in rituals, spells and on your
altar.

Dowsing & Water Witching
 
Description: This is an interactive, hands-on class. Many divining tools
will be tested, including pendulums & rods. Many kinds of "finding" will be
shown, including hidden or lost items, dowsing for water, minerals,
precious metals as well as auras, energy projections.
(Please bring a wire coat hanger)

Instructor: Edris Gaicomim has over 40 years dowsing experience. She
is a member of the Oregon Dowsing Society, Montana Dowsing Society,
The Fellowship of Inner Light, and PSI Seminars.

Living Inside Out:
The Power of Masks in Healing

Description: This day-long workshop will focus on exploring the
dynamic archetypal layers of the psyche through discussion, active
imagination, and actual work, making individual masks from plaster
gauze. Through the means of mask-making, you will be able to explore
and discover deeper levels of your inner nature comfortably and within
your own limits. Participants are encouraged to bring glitter,
feathers -- anything that reflects your sense of mask.

Instructor: C. Jane Estelle, Ph.D., Depth Psychologist and Board
Certified Art Therapist. Dr. Estelles focus is on the power of imagery in
healing. She has been in practice for 20 years.

Natural Tools for Balance
 
Description: In this class you will learn many methods for self-healing
and wellness. We will explore a variety of modalities aimed at opening to
spirit and relaxation. Ayurvedic self-massage, breathwork, deliberate
intent, flower essences, meditation, diet, essential oils and much more.
This class is designed to give you practical tools for your daily use and a
general overview of the basis of health and happiness.
Supplies: notebook, comfortable clothing, blanket

Instructor: Sharon Winnett, MS, CMP, Reiki Master. has over 25 years of
combined experience in the healing arts. She is a massage practitioner,
Reiki Master, and has a private practice in Billings, Energetic Therapy.

The Gift in Burnout
 
Description: Are you feeling constantly exhausted, overwhelmed, and
bombarded from too much to do, too much to process, too much
responsibility? Be a THRIVER instead of a SURVIVOR. Join us in a day of
finding creative ways to turn stress back into energy and enthusiasm.

Instructor: Sally Keele, B.S.Ed, and co-creator of Harmony Gardens, an
Educational Resource Service for parents, teachers and childcare
providers. She specializes in the development of the full human potential
through the creative spirit.

Spiritual Creative Writing
Expressing and Exploring the Voice of Your Spirit
  
Description: Each person has their own inner author within and we are focusing on releasing this voice. There will be simple writing exercises, handouts for home journaling, and time for sharing with others. This class is intended to be fun and stimulating, to discover who we are and how to let more pleasure into our journey.

Description: Learn how to dress and carve candles, how to understand
and apply color meanings, and the various forms of candles. Candle

Basic Bellydance
 
Description: For the fresh beginner, and the beginner needing to re-fresh
before moving to the next level! All elements of Bellydancing are

costume design, jewelry, and make-up.

How to Get Type II Diabetes
 
Description: A century ago Type II Diabetes was a medical curiosity; today it is epidemic. Unforseen consequences of diet and lifestyle changes
have caused this, but there is strong evidence that this is reversible in
ways that are not hard and not unpleasant. In three classes, Dr. Mauney
will show the current evidence for the nature of the disease, its causes,
and the means to heal. You may attend any or all of the three classes.

Instructor: Dr. Thad Mauney holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry and offers
personalized counseling in restorative nutrition.

Hypnotherapy:
Easy To Understand and Use
 
Description: This workshop will provide an overview of hypnotherapy
plus practical tools for daily life. Participants will experience a group
hypnotherapy session and training to continue self hypnosis. These
techniques can be used to address problems of physical health, addictions,
memory, emotional swings and general well being. In these days when
many people feel overwhelmed it is a method to help you take control of
your life. This is a very safe environment and self disclosure is not
required.

Instructor: Dan Geiger MS, a native of Billings, has practiced psychology
for the past 35 years and has studied and taught in 40 countries on
5 continents. He is currently an adjunct professor of psychology and
counseling at MSU-B and has a private practice specializing in
hypnotherapy.

Herbs For Magical Purposes 
 
Description: This class, in four sessions, will cover important herbs and
their uses in magic, why we use herbs in magic, how to charge your
herbs, various methods of herbal use i.e. poppets, talismans. You may attend any or all of the four classes.
This first class will give you an introduction to herbs, resources, gathering
and tools.  A packet & supplies will be provided.

4th Friday Reading Group 

Description: On the 4th Friday of each month Barjon's hosts a reading
group. Each month a different book is the topic of discussion.
This month's book: To Be Announced.
This event is a fun way to connect with like-minded people and explore
different views and ideas.

Mind Mapping...Dance Your Stories 

Description: This unique class combines Mind Mapping -- a graphic
technique that allows us to access cortical skills using words, images,
logic and color -- with the physical expressions of moving or dancing to
music. This powerful combination of techniques offers a wonderfully
creative and freeing experience.


Instructor: Joan Belle Nemeth, Mind Mapping Facilitator; and Kimberly
Clausen, Soul Dance Founder.
